Lyn Beaty leads global oversight of the Company’s financial activities and is a member of the Company’s Executive Committee. She previously served as Senior Vice President of Internal Assurance Services, responsible for providing assurance services for global operations and financial activities. Beaty joined Halliburton in 1983 as an accountant and financial analyst, and has served in an array of financial, accountant and leadership roles, contributing to many growth initiatives. A recognized expert in finance, she is active in academic communities, speaking on oilfield services and finance at universities and serving as a panelist in multiple forums on governance, risk and controls.
Beaty holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in accounting from The University of Texas at Austin. She is a certified public accountant in the state of Texas and serves on the board of directors of the Institute of Internal Auditors Houston Chapter. She is a member of the Accounting Advisory Board for The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business.
