Eric Carre leads the Company’s financial strategy and functions, including planning and analysis, accounting and reporting, tax, internal assurance, treasury, corporate development, and investor relations, He is a member of the Company’s Executive Committee.
He started with Halliburton in 1991 as a Project Engineer and Manager of Technology. Carre has held multiple operational roles in the Middle East, Asia Pacific and Europe/Africa regions, as well as other leadership positions, including Vice President of Drill Bits & Services, Vice President of Baroid, and Senior Vice President of the Drilling & Evaluation Division. He most recently served as of Executive Vice President of Global Business Lines and Chief Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Officer.
Carre holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Université Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium, and an MBA in finance from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Fédération Royale d’Associations Belges d’Ingénieurs Civils, d’Ingénieurs Agronomes et de Bioingénieurs.
